I'm in ... and still interested in the opportunities ... but I agree, long delays serve to disconnect you from the story and game energy. I also agree it is not Xar'f fault - real life intevene's for all of us!

I do think establishing a rythm for turn submissions and returns would help with the energy level for the game. Even if processing takes a month. And we have two to three weeks for turn development, predictability might help sustain interest.

But such suggestions are easy for me to make; I don't have a PhD dissertation defense coming up!!

A few cryptic hints...

Someone's attempt at circumventing the "rules" leads to unforeseen and horrifying side effects!

Someone else from the Second Age appears - if you're insightful enough to notice him!

Someone is unlucky enough that brigands are pretty much besieging almost all of his/her cities...

And that's it for this morning :P I'll get back to you for the afternoon news...

Crap! I'd better go look at my turn too.

These cryptic hints were almost universally bad news, so I hope none of them apply to me!

I'm not worried about 1 or 3, and I doubt the 2nd Ager deals specifically with me, either. I'm just thrilled to Calais to see CHs!!!!!!!!

I'll say that the Second Age character is somehow related to one of the Second Age players who are also playing in the Third Age...

So help me, if the Abomination is back, and on Shaldir, I will find a way to make you regret it, Xar. Oh, I promise I will!!

...ah...

But maybe a fabulous turn result about Love would be forthcoming again... Image

...that is still my absolute favorite return I've seen yet, even though it was the first I've ever seen...

I still wish you would post it in the "Best of" thread...but, I kinda understand...
