Congrats, Jaz! Potty training children seems to be a difficult feat at best. :)

And here's hoping that Mary gets feeling better soon. |G

I discovered that accidentally slamming your middle finger in the closet door yields the most painful bruise one can imagine. And a corollary. . . when one's middle finger is in pain one discovers just how much one needs a middle finger to complete any small task. . including typing replies on a certain message board. :P

 Damn right. Whenever I get a cut on a finger I soon learn how important my digits are...

I guess this is as good a place to ask as any...

Does anyone know where one would start to ask to be tested to become a potential kidney donor? And at how young one could volunteer to do such?

Hmm... I'd bring it up with whoever you go to for any other medical knowledge, first. Then maybe someone at a hospital could answer? Or a blood donation clinic?

Beorn's pediatrician then, I guess.
I haven't been seen by a medical professional myself in...
...awhile.

Even if they don't know themselves, they could probably point in the right direction to ask someone else.

I feel good today even though I'm running on 4 hours of sleep. Got some cleaning done, some grocery shopping done (under budget I might add), going to bake cookies tonight, then nerd it up and play Arkham Horror with my husband later tonight. It's supposed to snow tomorrow, so it'll be another fun day in the snow! I love winter.

I'm feeling pretty good. My manager sent me home early from the theater and a friend of mine was leaving at the same time. So I also hitched a ride home. Woo! Now its time to cruise the interwebs and wait for Pantheon results.

But, hopefully there will be a gift in my email inbox when I wake up in the morning...
...even if I do think cho's results are not going to be at all what I hope for.

I feel...replete. :)

Today is Yule. The girls got home yesterday. We stayed up past midnight so we could open all our presents. I got many things I wanted.

They are now heading to their dad's (they may already be there, actually). I'll make the big dinner tomorrow.

And I don't have to get up early and go to work tomorrow, which is possibly the best part of all....

Had my laundry day with Lucimay and yammered about the Malazan books for a good long part of it.

Posted that and then realized I was in Pantheon persona. Guess that should properly read, "Did laundry with an Carraig today." :P The goddess of pain and the goddess of Justice did laundry and talked about Malazan at the cafe and laundromat today.

I had the best Christmas present confirmed today. I now have a throat infection.
Yay! Such fun and in perfect time for the holidays.

No doubt there will be a white Christmas this year. Friday, almost a foot of snow. Single digit fahrenheit temperatures temperatures since Saturday. Tomorrow another 3 - 6 inches of snow, and some more on Wednesday. Ho, ho, ho!

So I'm off to Seasis' place for Xmas. Leaving in a couple of hours, but at the moment the house is all quiet (Mr Seareach and SoS are still asleep).

I've been doing good recently. Mr Seareach has lined me up some work next year when SoS goes to school. I'll be doing lithics analysis (identifying/classifying stone tools). I've never been keen on being a "rock jock" (I don't get off on it like some other archaeologists do). However, it pays really well, and I'll be able to do the work from home.

Mr Seareach is having two weeks off so he's nice and relaxed.

And SoS can't wait for Santa to come. This is the first Xmas he's been really into Christmas and it's wonderful to see his excitement. I hope that he likes everything Santa has got him.

So, yeah, happy Sea. :)
