I think it was a tie between Scotland, Ireland, and Rush.

Unless the future releases an album of staggering magnitude, this will be it. These albums define what I love: very deep, Baroque-style rock; lots of instrumentation, production, but never an overly slick feel. I'm on a ride when I hear these albums from the first track on; spent nights up late marveling at their texture and the loving placement of every instrument.

1) Red, by King Crimson
2) A Wizard, a True Star, by Todd Rundgren
3) Pet Sounds, by The Beach Boys
4) Abbey Road, by The Beatles
5) Fulfillingness' First Finale, by Stevie Wonder
