Crickey sounds like work to me Lore ,hope you enjoy it anyway , and your parents estate sounds big ;)

Stone enjoy your time in the old Emerald Isle

I had a 20 mile training run yesterday and will follow that up with a 12 mile run tomorrow, and hopefully after that I will start working on my new course. Open University "Working with Java" got all the books and info on the course today so looking forward to making a start and keeping ahead of the course schedule.

Just returned from the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire
...I just wish this video featured more of the living chess board and the jousting tournament...

Started the new semester of Czech yesterday. I actually remembered some stuff we learned last semester, yay!

Magickmaker took the Spanish placement test yesterday and tested out of two semesters -- yay! And Batty did middling well on her GRE yesterday.

Tonight, I made cookies and will shortly be lighting candles for Imbolc. 8)

Ah, here we go.
A compilation video of several years of my favorite thing at the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire. One of these days I am going to join this troupe, even if just to work as behind-the-scenes support...

This weekend has to be one of the most boring I can remember. I don't know what made it so different from other weekends.

I'm actually looking forward to going to work tomorrow. Meh.

On Friday I did a major cleaning job on my room and had a movie night/sleepover party. On Saturday I did laundry and fooled around on the computer and watched another movie. Today I went to a flute recital (lovely), watched the Super Bowl (ugh), did more laundry, and started my homework. Overall a pretty good weekend.

Tomorrow, I'm going CAVING!!! And I'm super excited(possibly more about the 150ft rapel into the cave than the actual caving, but I'm excited about that too)!!!

With a big snowstorm due tonight and lasting until Saturday afternoon, I don't think I'll be doing much this weekend.

Doing "Thanksgiving Light" tonight with a turkey I purchased on sale after the holidays, and indulging in turkey sandwiches the rest of the weekend.

A weekend of tryptophan-induced somnolence, here I come.

Tonight I'm paying bass in a Latin band, to see if I want to be a part of it. Tomorrow, I'm possibly going to a wedding (don't really want to, but I'm expected to, and I'm supposed to be available to play at the reception). Sunday, I play at church and then I get to go home, glue my fingers back on, and take a long nap......

tomorrow i'll take a long walk in Sandy Hook National Park and Fort Hancock. The beaches are long, cold and abandoned at this time of year. If lucky I'll get to explore the empty fort ruins, army barracks and gunneries. It is a really beautiful and jolting and stimulates the writer in me.

my crazy dog will go with me and I'll pick one rock off the beach. I take one rock each walk. this place is my only reason for living in new jersey. (what other reason could there possibly be?) :P

i havent figured out a way to attach pics to a post or i would show you my pretty pics.[/url]

Rock Band party at the Brinnsters! Full costumes required! Food, open bar and lots of ridiculousness are on the agenda!
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Wow, everybody's weekend is more ambitious than mine. Well, except for Damelon's. Just the usual routine: Czech class tomorrow, book club Sunday, attempting to sleep in between.

It would be sad to be denied pretty pics. You could use the "Img" tag above your reply box to display images from another site. Or...

I use Imageshack as the host site for my photos. It creates links to the photos which I can then copy and paste here. Of course, there are other options like Flickr or Photobucket.
