I've been looking for the podcasts for the past couple of episodes, but so far they've not shown up on iTunes.

Lets not forget Cara Thrace's reaction to the name Daniel

"Are you sure that's the word? Daniel? "

Cara has an Idea. Somebody put it forward here Daniel might have been her dad.

Yea, it seems the two most popular theories are:

Daniel is Kara's dad or Cavil did such a good job monkeying around with Daniel's makeup that Daniel is now a female named Kara Thrace (this one certainly would put a, ironic twist on Starbuck having changed genders in the new version of BSG)

Because he's becoming a "preacher" again? Dunno, I was wondering the same thing myself. He was free of her for so long, and now...

Only 4 more episodes left. Hopefully they tie up all the "big" things, and don't pull what Stargate SG-1 did, deliberately not resolving the arc, so they could sell us 2 Direct to Disc DVDs.

Previews give the impression that Kara's mysteries will be the highlight of this week's episode

Oh there's better be a big mother$ucking wrap-up during these last 4 episodes, otherwise there's gonna be a geek uprising. Hats off for NOT having Earth reached as the finale. But I think we're going to find out that actual humans have been extinct for millenia.

If this series ends with either an autistic kid playing with a snow globe or Bob Newhart waking up from a nightmare, I'm shooting someone.

Okay... how exactly does this describe Ellen?
The Hybrid wrote:

I know I'm probably dwelling on this too much, but that line and a couple of scenes were the basis for just about every incorrect theory I've had on the final episodes.

Doesn't make sense to me unless it has something to do with Daniel.

And even then...

Ellen was still hidden from general kowledge, the last to be known. She'll only be redeemed in the howl of suffering (Caprica having lost the baby, Tigh loyal to Caprica and realizing Ellen's love has always been poisonous). Clawing toward the light could refer to her entrance back into the fleet and how petty she became (just like her old self, yet maybe even worse)

Hmm... I always saw it as referring to past events, but no reason it would have to.

Still, I don't see her 'hungering for redemption' - it's just not in her personality. I don't see her accepting enough responsibility to feel a need for redemption.

This is certainly true of the Ellen before she died, and the Ellen we saw on her return to Galactica. However, the Ellen we saw with Cavil after her "resurrection" was quite likable and did indeed seem to want to be a good person.

Yes, I am having trouble accepting the dichotomy between Ellen the charismatic rocket scientist and Ellen the petty bitch.

Though the latter is certainly more in line with everything we know about her, can we write off just the last episode as a bad dream?

Yea, they made us love Ellen when she was with Cavil, and then turned around the very next episode reminding us why we hate her

Which was, to me, the only interesting thing about last week's episode.

I'm now really intrigued with the idea that Baltar is Daniel.

It's interesting if there's a reason for it. Will we see the likeable Ellen again? Why did she change? Hopefully something beyond "Tigh brings out the worst in her". Why would someone create virtual immortality and plan to spend all eternity tied to someone they're going to fight with the entire time?

I had hoped that Ellen in 'No Exit' was the 'real' Ellen, but that seems doubtful after the last episode.

Either way, they have some explaining to do.

Baltar-as-Daniel is interesting, but they still have to explain Starbuck, and I think a Starbuck-Daniel connection is more likely.

See, Starbuck is more problematic, since there was no Resurrection Hub when she died, and how exactly did her ship get resurrected as well?

I think it may have something to do with the Guardians.

They know her by name and have what might be called a prophecy about her.

Then again, Leoben knows something.

How could he have information that the others, including Ellen, don't seem to have?

Might have something to do with Daniel.

No explanation for the ship.
