I know there are a few fans of Old Boy on here, and maybe R-Point, a fantastic war/ghost story.
Watched another great Korean film last night, I'm a Cyborg But That's OK. It reminded me (a bit) of K-Pax and Edward Scissorhands. It's a love story, with some real laugh out loud moments, great ideas for characters, but it still has that element that characterizes all the really good Korean films I've seen - scenes that are truly horrifying to watch, where you wonder WHY the bastard who made the film is subjecting you to such gruesomeness! Where you know you should look away but are too fascinated/apalled to.
