Holy crap that's the voice of Bolvar screaming.
Wow. 8O

I don't have high hopes of getting to see Ulduar any time soon, but it looks cool.

Hearthstone change is nice. (Down to 30 min.)

The new pet talents are also nice, gives more options to those of us who have multiple pets in the same talent tree. (Solo cat, dungeon cat, PvP cat... )

New leatherworking items are nice.. think I already mentioned that.

Didn't think I'd say this, but: Frostfire is fun. I've got it as my second spec on the PTR, and it's a lot more enjoyable that I expected. I'd need to tweak my ui a little to handle keeping track of DoTs, and I'm not used to the cooldowns yet, but it's interesting and I like the Hot Streak mechanic. I'm almost tempted to leave Frost behind...

Frost.

Frostfire.

The depressing thing is, as Frost I can hit 1600 dps on the dummy if I blow all cooldowns regularly, trinket, etc. As Frostfire, I hit 1600 with my regular rotation, and get 18-1900 if I start using cooldowns. More damage for less effort. Sigh.

On the other hand, Frost lasts at least twice as lnog before going out of mana.

6k Frostfire Bolt crits are fun (and the 330% crit multiplier you can get from talents is the only reason Frostfire builds are viable).

Looks like a decent dual-spec.

I've been going over hunter talents trying to decide on a second spec, probably a hybrid spec for raiding, but I'm still working out the details.

Interesting changes to quest-related UI stuff on the PTR now.
-On mobs that are related to a quest you are on, their tooltip shows quest name and objective counter. Less chance you'll run around killing the wrong thing, then.
-When you track a quest that has a useable item, a button appears beside the quest objectives that you can click to use the item, and which shows the item's cooldown like a regular button (the tracking was turned on for me by default when I took a quest with this feature). No more having to drag and drop items onto the action bar or run around with your bag open.

Rumor has it the patch may be this Tuesday. I thought they'd give Ulduar testing more time - anyone heard anything?

Whose rumour? The people who think a pre-patch download is the patch itself?

The patch is nowhere near ready. Blizzard are aiming for early-April, but they already have plans in place to delay Noble Garden if testing needs to go on longer.

That's what I thought. A couple of people I was in a group with mentioned that Tuesday was 'maybe patch day,' and they seemed experienced enough to tell a pre-patch from an actual patch. Maybe there's another small patch before the big one. :?

There's a new phishing email that really looks like it came from Blizz's official email address. Be careful.

Chrysaliss, this is the kind of thing I'd go for. Have a play around on the calculator and see what you like.

One problem I can see with Moonkin rotations is that you don't only have to watch for Eclipse procs - you have to keep track of its 30 seconds cooldown and actively avoid proccing it from Starfire (because if it procs from starfire it only increases Wrath damage, whereas you want to benefit from the 30% Starfire crit you get from casting Wrath). This means spam Wrath until it procs, spam Starfire for 30 seconds, then spam wrath again until it procs. That 30 second timer's going to be hard to keep up with, maybe you can use debuffs as a guideline? (Two Moonfires, I think.)

Soo.. the guild I have been raiding with is interested in starting 25-person raids.

We need about 10 more people. 8 DPS and 2 healers.

You need to be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 5:30 PM server time. Usually goes to 9-10 PM.

We're an experienced group, and we clear 10-man Naxx every week. They're patient and forgiving of mistakes, so don't worry if you don't know the fights.

Vent is required. You need to at least be able to listen, even if you don't have a mic.

Too bad - they have commented on your tanking abilities a few times.

Tanks are the one thing we don't need for raids, but we're sometimes short for heroics as you probably noticed, and if we can get something going on a Saturday afternon, maybe Tim could get in.

Thanks for that Murrin, I actually changed over a few of the talents and for the most part dont notice the loss of the ones I took off to put in Eclipse. It will take a little while to get used to the Wrath and Starfire rotation but overtime it should be fine!
During one battle yesterday it was commented on saying I managed 3k dps. Apparently that was a good thing.

Now I just need to work on my Resto spec - and start looking for gear. Fun fun fun.

Sorus - I'd love to offer to help with the raids but alas those times wouldn't work for me even if I was up to standard. I may be a night owl but the weekday runs would play havoc on work.Only problem with being UK based.

That's very good. 1500 is the recommended starting dps for raids.

I do about 2k in 5-mans, 2.5k in 10s, and 3k-3.3k in 25s. A lot depends on buffs.

Anyway, I'm going to see if we can work something out for the weekends for cross-guild events. We clear most of the 10s during the week, but if we could get enough for a 25 it would be fun, even if it's something fast like OS or VoA.

We'll see how our VoA-10 goes this Saturday - if everyone who confirmed shows up it should go well.

Mine does seem to vary from raid to raid etc. I need a few more gear changes then I will have to see what else can be done to get it up a bit more.

Cross guild stuff could be good. And now, as you say, we are going to be trying a few guild things so that should also be fun.

The vent addition should be helpful if needed - info is listed below for anyone that wants it:

vent16.gameservers.com
port - 5012
password - hellfire

I'm still trying to figure it all out but if you see any additions you think it needs just give me a shout and I will try editing things.
