A lot of the time, the 'Celticness' has been a bit jumbled anyway. For instance, Edward Lhuyd's translation of early Welsh on an inscribed standing stone in Wales, which later turned out to actually be Irish. Still, this does point to a resemblance between the early Irish and Welsh languages - a 'Celtic' connection that most archaeologists these days (except Barry Cunliffe) believe to be verging on negligible.

Sounds like fun Stonemaybe but I,m hoping Ireland do win the game and in style  Most irish supporters will be biting their nails for 80 minutes.

What a day! :D  Best ever game of rugby I've ever seen (though it wouldn't've been if we'd lost!) went to the very last kick of the game.

This weekend, I'm painting the inside of my house.
Next weekend, I plan to paint the outside.
Have you hugged your arghule today?

I completely wasted my time, and I haven't decided yet whether it was worth all the work I now have to squeeze into a few days.

They say that the fisherman does not catch a fish as much as the fish catches the fisherman. You might argue that you are the one to eat it, but perhaps by eating it the fish eats your spirit? 8O

...and a certain friend to both of us had better help finish getting me prepared for our planned event while you are home. If this doesn't happen, I'm going to be highly upset at this point... :?

...no pressure, heh...it is a gift on both your parts after all...

In the meantime, while I am sure I'll see you before you leave, just in case...
Safe travels!

Have a great time, Xar! :)

For me: Saturday is the last Czech class of the semester, which means a potluck luncheon. Mmmmm.... Then I get to drive, oh, hours and hours, to my kids' college. Magickmaker's doing tech crew for the school musical -- they're doing "Chicago" -- and Batty, Shara_Lunison and I are going to see it Saturday night. Driving home Sunday.

My sister in law's flying in from Tampa on Sat. Good excuse to sneak off to see Watchmen while all the shopping, teaparties, and 4 year old portrait studio shots are being taken. Maybe I should ride the new "Rail Runner" to Santa Fe and back?
