Results are in. :D

A few things...

1) As I've said before, there's many more villages scattered around, I just didn't put them all on the map. Partly because I don't want to bother with all those dots, and partly because you get to tell me where they are. Lliannon Aine wanted a village that was far away, and discussed the difficulty of the distance. I reminded her that there could be one closer, and we worked it out. The rest of you went after specific villages, or didn't go after any village at all, choosing to use your power where you already were.

2) How much info should I put in the Events thread? I don't want to reveal things being built, unless you think I should. Will simply looking down on Narie from the divine realm allow you all to see this or that? Or should, say Alcifer be required to use power, or send spies, to see what, say, Agape is doing?

3) I don't want to give a deadline yet, because I'm not sure how close Xar is with Pantheon results. If I say next weekend, and results come out in the next couple days, some will be working on Turn 3 here and Turn 11 there at the same time. If those of you who would be in that position don't have a problem with it, because not much is happening here yet, then fine. If everybody could chime in here and let me know, and we'll see what's up with Pantheon in the next day or so...

Congrats on gaining second villages! I'm getting there, slowly.

Odin, even if results come out today, Pantheon deadline won't be for at least two weeks, and with Easter holidays coming up, may be longer. I don't see a conflict, unless you want us to wait longer than two weeks...

Well, I for one would like to know what arose in Narie in response to the new presence of dieties.

If it is a random event, that is up to the receiving deity to decide if they wish to tell others about it, whether via PM or the game thread. Unless Odin chooses differently...

Ah okay.

The way the hint was worded, I thought it was going to effect everyone.

Local knowledge, I think, until more power is gained. We'll be aware of the spreading of the other gods' influences but not aware of the specifics of what is going on in those areas unless we encounter it or endeavour to do so.

Traditionally - that is, in Pantheon - CHs can be about something that happens to only one deity, and is never revealed to others. (Or at least not to me.) It happens every turn. Rest assured that someone gets some information about a CH in their personal results.

Yeah, that's my opinion, too. But, in this matter, at least, I don't want to decide for everybody. It could be that, while trying to keep the game slow enough for me to be able to learn how to run it, it's too slow to be of interest to the players. heh

I like the idea of waiting until bigger things happen to have them show up on the Events Thread. It might take awhile, but I'm fine with that. This game is fun as hell. Even if I was the only one playing, I'd just write back and forth to Fist. heh.

Well, we could do such a thing, maybe once per week. I might get bored with that after five or six years.

OK, Turn 3 deadline: Sunday, March 29th, 23:00 / 11:00 p.m. GMT
I'm sure that won't interfere with the next Pantheon deadline.

woo-hoo!

If we stick to Sundays, deadline won't conflict with my trip home for Pesach either, although for those who celebrate, it may conflict with Easter...

...now to start planning...

balon!, if you meant you sent Turn 3, which is due in five days, I don't see it in my email. If you were just wanting to be able to say, "Made you look!", nicely done. :D

Yesterday, Fist brought my attention back to the thread where Pantheon was initially proposed. Made me nostalgic all over again, and the timing was appropriate, as the proposal was made three years ago this past Sunday...

Anyway, I had to laugh when I read one of the posts. This was written before Fist chose the name of Bhakti... What goes around comes around, eh? ;)
