I'd really love to come but it would take some huge tax return, winning Powerball or an act of god to make it happen. And with my Dad about to turn 88 that rules out an act of god, knock on wood...

I am hoping I will feel better by then. The doctors have me off of work for a week right now. I think the radiation treatment I got back in January has finally done its job and killed my thyroid. I am certainly now showing all of the symptoms of hypothyroidism rather than the hyperthyroidism. I went in this week and got the dose of my beta blocker adjusted, as it was slowing down my heart rate too much, but am starting to feel a bit better now with the adjustment and a faster heart rate (though not as fast as it was in the hyper phase.

(The target rate is in the 80's - it was in the hundreds in January, in the 80's until earlier this week when it dropped into the sixties. It is the seventies now after the adjustment. )

I will see the endocrinologist two Tuesdays from now, and will probably start the synthroid - once they get the dose of that right, I will be well on the road to feeling normal and good for the first time in years.

So I am hoping I will feel OK in late April.

Oh no. That way everyone would see how half of the hair on my head has fallen out and how bizarre I look right now, rather than just the people at the wedding.

It's actually OK.

No one will be looking at me - they will all be looking at Fisty and his bride anyway.

I have a purple one, a blue one, an orange one(it's quite bright tho), a red one (that one makes Meggie giggle hysterically), and I also have a burnette one, a blond one and an auburn one.

I had no hair for almost two years, so I needed some variety.

And the countdown is on!! T-Minus 30 days and counting!!!

Fist, my husband asked me to ask about clothing requirements/dress code for your wedding guests. He wants lead time to get a suit and/or sports jacket cleaned - or possibly altered (it has been a while since he has had to wear any of them) - if you guys are going semi-formal for your reception.
