I'm pretty sure that's the coolest thing that anyone's ever said to me.
How charming it is that there are words and tones; are not words and tones rainbows and seeming bridges 'twixt the eternally separated? ~ Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spake Zarathustra

Hail hearthrall antonicus and robrod. Welcome to the Watch.

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Greetings!
I'm an old hand at forums, but I'm a late bloomer at this one.
About a thousand years ago, an old friend whom I'd lost contact with for a century or three recommended I read a book called Lord Foul's Bane.
I replied that reading a book with such a silly title was the last thing I was going to be doing. However, he would not take no for an answer and browbeat until I relented.
That was the beginning of a love affair with the
First and Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever that continues to this day.
I myself have pestered the uninitiated to read them; some showing the same skepticism and contempt prior to investigation that I displayed in my ignorance.
Nevertheless. <--Donaldsonism

Anyway, here I am. Better Late Than Never. (Obviously not too late, for my superior screenname was strangely still available.
