I was thinking the teacher might have scheduled the course final before the AP test, as a sort of practice test for that. I know the AP tests are given in early May.

Precisely.
It's AP European History.
The AP Exam is on Friday, the 8th.

But she didn't tell the parents anything.
And, Beorn did take the essay part of the exam without his accommodations,
other than having his alpha-smart, which I insisted he bring along with him.

I best address that this week for the rest of his exams, I guess...

Hopefully the teacher will take his lack of accommodations into account when grading his essay(s).

But...if (s)he's running this class like a college class, I'm surprised the date (at least, if not the time) for the final wasn't in the syllabus.

I had a root canal filling on the upper left hand side today and Im still suffering from blistered mouth roof on the right. Ive been told not to eat on the left hand side and eating on the right hand side is excrutiating. As a result im enjoying a liquid diet for the next 24hrs ... Interesting :P

That's awful... I wish there was something I can do...I think I'll eat a chicken in your honor

Hope the liquid diet is a very brief necesaty...necesity, neccesity, necesity argh, I can't spell today!

Feel better, Infelice!

Today's not bad so far. I got a lot done over the weekend, and even got in a hike on Saturday. Well, "hike" is being charitable -- more like a 3-mile stroll around Old Town Alexandria. :) This is the first time I've ever done anything with this group. Nice folks. The same group leader is doing another hike in early June that I'll probably go on.

This is but a small and insignificant event, in the scale of anything, but annoying nonetheless. I usually ignore my birthday and let it pass by, but this year several people kept hounding me to do something - nothing exotic, just a peaceful drink and conversation in a selection of local venues.

Now we're down to the last couple of hours before we're meant to meet, and everyone who pushed me to make a fuss has bailed. I'm almost down to one person actually attending.

Sometimes I wish all Watchers lived nearby. Then at least I could count on people actually wanting to be around me. Honestly, all my RL 'friends' are a bunch of apathetic bastards. :-x

Poor Roger! If I had the money, I'd send magickmaker over to push you off a porch, just for old times' sake. Here's to friends who are apathetic bastards!

Great Frith, can I relate. One of my best friends since 6th grade that I have known most of my life I have seen less than the esteemed forum member Aliantha this year. And he lives about 45 minutes away from me. I really only have one friend that I see with any regularity anymore, and we get together pretty rarely anymore - maybe once a month or so.

Oh, and as for the ex-girlfriend still dictating who you are allowed to see - if possible, it might do you a world of good to not have any interaction with her for a month. During my breakups of the past, I found this did me no end of good to get away for a little while and start finding myself again.

 Jenn.

I'm in a bad mood. My contract isn't being renewed at work (due to the job budget being overblown). Pain in the hole as if I can't organize some work asap I've got no chance of getting to the states in October...which is just...yeah...f*****!

And I have this wacko chest infection which I can't shake. Spent a lot of this week sleeping and still feel like death!

So BOO!!! to this week! :P
