As I was making my way home from work one day a few weeks ago I noticed a sign outside a local church while the bus was stopped at a set of traffic lights. The sign, which was advertising an Alpha Course, posed the question, "if God was real, what would you ask him?"
So I thought I would ask my fellow atheists and agnostics here at the Watch them same question - if God was real what would you ask him?
I have been thinking about this ever since and I think I would ask him or her two things - what does he or she want, and why he or she deserves to get it?

I'd have to ask to what end justifies the means of innocent children being raped and molested by his so called church by those who these children most trust.
...and why so many innocents who have professed their love and devotion to him are allowed to have such violent and tortuous deaths. The examples here are far too many to list.

In all seriousness, I would ask why He didn't explain himself to his scribe better. He's got a lot of internal inconsistency in his Book.
I'd also ask Him why he puts so much value on believing in something one can't see over believing in something concrete and there in front of you. Seems like the latter would be open to less disagreement, less violence, less atrocity, and less arrogance.

The sign I referred to implied the God of Christianity, but I was thinking in more general terms as far as this thread goes.
