I think he will, sooner or later - though not necessarily in the time frame of the books. I can see him treating his own child with the same lavish affection he pours onto his pets, and his pride in Harry, Ron and Hermione says something about his fatherly qualities, IMO.

I'd do it with Hagrid anytime, with the right accent of course. I love Robbie Coltrane!
The reality is in this head. Mine. I'm the projector at the planetarium, all the closed little universe visible in the circle of that stage is coming out of my mouth, eyes, and sometimes other orifices also.
