FBH internet or software issue
FBH internet or software issue
I'm not sure this is the right forum for this question, but if it isn't I'm sure the appropriate person can move it to its proper place.
Problem:
I'm having an undue amount of difficulty being able to watch the episodes of Fantasy Bedtime Hour. I can get the audio just fine, but the visual shows up as a green blur. I have had this problem since I first tried to view FBH several months ago, and have tried various ways to solve the problem, to no avail.
My Failed Attempts to Solve the Problem:
I have uninstalled and reinstalled QuickTime several times.
I have downloaded all updates of QuickTime.
I have used different internet browsers (IE 7 and 8, Safari, Firefox).
I have downloaded the episodes to iTunes as podcasts.
I have attempted to view FBH on RealPlayer instead of on QuickTime.
I have used other computers on my college campus.
I have used my laptop in at least two different locations.
I have done a full-system virus scan several times.
I have deleted my cache of cookies and temporary internet files.
I have restarted my computer multiple times.
I have tried not trying.
Have I missed anything that I should have tried? Why in the Land can't I watch these things? I've only seen two episodes, and it was on somebody else's computer (which I do not have access to). I want to watch the rest of them and am frustrated that I cannot.

I found the setting for it, but there are three different versions of directdraw acceleration. Do I turn all of them off, or is it a particular one that needs to be turned off?Murrin wrote:I recognise the problem, something I've had in the past (though it'd happen in WMP too). As far as I remember there was a temporary fix by turning something off in quicktime options, but I can't remember exactly what.
Edit: Directdraw acceleration. Can't seem to find the setting for it now, though.
