Eurovision

Anyone watching this year? I missed the music, unfortunately, but I'm watching the votes.

This year they've moved to a new voting system, with the public vote being halved with a jury vote, because of the very obvious favouritism countries were showing to their neighbours the last couple of years. I think it shows in the results: Norway are in the lead with 367 points, by far the highest score anyone's had in this contest, more than 150 point ahead of the second place.

I'll probably have a listen to the songs when I next have some free time, they're usually available on the website.

:D I watched. Not as many jaw-droppingly strange acts tonight as there have been in the past, unfortunately. (though Albania's dancers were weird)

I quite liked Moldova and Estonia's entries. There were the usual nausea inducing cheesy acts, drop dead gorgeous acts, and mind-numbingly seen it before a hundred times acts, but I had fun.

can't believe Norway won by so much. It's not bad as far as Eurovision songs go, but it wasn't that much better, either!

Here are the results of the Vader jury. No points for anyone. Just @#$%& off, drop dead and die.
