(it does help when one have 3 er 4 80s ) If guild X asks some to fill in from guild Y and guild Y members say "yes" and end up getting locked and causing guild Y problems is that a problem with the 'requestor' or the 'requestee'? I would think the guild Y member would know their guild's schedule and either say "I can use this alt toon but I'm committted or my primary" or say "no"? Isn't that how it is supposed to work? If a raid schedule blows up because some make a mistake or don't remember (I would be a good one for that) ... isn't it just a mistake and need to better structure coordination? Scheduling one guild seems challenging, three much more so ... but it seemed the guild leaders thought it worth the effort.
I don't know what DO's schedule is, but from what I have seen it seems to vary from week to week. AD raids on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM and Saturdays at generally the same time or a little earlier. We are trying to get our Ulduar progression back to the weekdays and the Watch/AD Naxx 10 run back to Saturdays.

At any rate, it will be on the calendar. If you accept an invite to AD's Naxx 10 run on Tuesday night, don't get locked with DO with that character on Tuesday afternoon. Just an example, but it did happen this last week. Since the raid starts about 30 minutes after I get home from work, it's really annoying to check the calendar, see you have a full group, then check to see how many of them are online and notice that one is already in another raid. It can be really difficult to fill a key spot 15 minutes before the raid begins.

We send our invitations out before the lockout period begins. If you have invitations from multiple groups for the same raid, pick one of them.

And for me personally, I need to stop accepting the same raid with BOTH my toons!! I need to accept with only the one I should use. For AD I will use STORMBREAK; and with DO I will use DEVA. And perhaps practice tanking with CHAOS with the Watch in 5-man heroics!!

[I don't know what I'll do when I level my Pally to 80!! ;-)]

Lastly, I am probably not good enough for the Ulduar progression until I am better geared and doing DPS > at least 2,500.

Sounds good. I have tried to invite only one of you, as I don't want to cause confusion for AD folks - they're learning our alts but don't have the entire legion down yet.

If you want to switch it around, let me know so I can change invitations, or just be on the correct one when actual raid invitations start.

As to Ulduar, only myself and Kysen are geared to get past the first boss. Once we're all in Naxx 10 gear with all our enchants and gems and such, more will be ready.

I'd say Luci and Jhem are pretty close. Nevah may be, too.
I'm not too sure about myself, really - I'm still half in blues.

Of course, the main problem is I can't raid past 4pm server on weekdays.

Yeah, there are a few that are close.

I shouldn't post when it's past my bedtime. Been trying to be more careful with my pronouns, as I use 'we' to refer to both myself and AD and myself and the Watch. And realizing that not everyone will be able to tell who or what I'm talking about based on context. For now, the Ulduar progression is AD. We may pull in Watchers if we're short, as some are geared enough to do the first boss and maybe even the first 4 bosses considering how much they were nerfed in a recent patch. After that, it gets difficult enough that you really need to be fully geared or everyone is just going to end up with repair bills.

And that's certainly part of why we're doing Naxx. AD mains don't really need anything from Naxx 10. That's part of why we were hoping to do 25. Most of us are a bit tired of Naxx. We want to do Ulduar. But, we need more people, and hopefully when more of the Watch is in Naxx gear, we'll have more people we can pull into Ulduar.

And I know (Stormbreak) how to drive the tank in Ulduar!! (tho I can get lost!) But know best how to shoot sh*t!

I don't think I can EVER be catapulted and kill the stuff you high flyers do! Or the daredevils on the motorbikes!!

The chopper drivers have the most difficult job in my opinion, but nothing you couldn't handle. The catapult part is easy, you just get shot up there and DPS down something that doesn't even fight back. :P

Flame Leviathan, first boss of Ulduar, has been two-manned. :?

Oh, and in the next major content patch (3.2, still months away) they'll finally add the long-promised new druid form graphics:
In our next major content patch, druids will find a host of new textures for two major forms, cat and bear. There will be five different designs for each of these forms for the Horde and Alliance. Night elves can choose to change their cat and bear look at any time by visiting the barber shop and changing their character's hair color, while tauren will be able to change which look they use by switching skin tones in the barber shop -- a new feature for tauren in the next major content patch. Given that there are more hair colors and skin tones than unique form looks, some colors and tones will overlap with these new textures. The hair and skin colors chosen will, in most cases, correspond with the color seen in the look of each form. Some similar colors that may share a particular cat texture will not necessarily share the same bear texture.

We'd like to share with you this new art for each form and faction in four installments. So without further ado, our first preview is for the five new textures of the tauren druid bear form. We'll also show the current form design so you can easily see the extra detail and textures of the new art. Work continues on new looks for the remaining druid forms and we hope to add them in future content patches.

I'm a little disappointed that the single ugliest creature in the game, the NElf Druid aquatic form, is not getting an update.

Edit: And finally:

Edit: Ah, who am I kidding. I just found a new website I like, even though I don't play the class (yet, I'm still debating my Druid's spec):

Whoa. I can see how they did it and might be willing to give it a try, but speaking from first-hand experience, it would not be easy to kite FL on a demo for that long with no choppers to set down tar. 8O

On the one hand, it's a little annoying, but on the other hand I do respect that they did it and made it look easy.

And the new druid forms are awesome. I might have to actually work on my druid.

Seems to be working this morning. Sorry about that. Took me 15 minutes to post that message from my phone, heh.

Grats on the shoulders, Deva. Guess I'll have to get Loatheb next week instead.

Thanks for that Kysen. I know how much of a pain it can be using a slow mobile to post - I gave up when I had to a while back. Glad to hear all is working this morning.

We got Loatheb on the 3rd try. Seemed a night for very few people online. I hope to get back in there for Friday and try get Arachnid Quarter cleared then move on the Patchwork. How are you set for Friday Kysen? I will send out invites once I get home.

Apologies if things seem a slightly less organised this week - still getting used to the whole Raid Leader thing and having two seperate groups for Naxx 10 means fewer people to call upon. We should be back to normal next week or the week after.

As an aside, a few of us on DO will be working our way through the Heroic Instances this evening and over the next couple of days. If any of you guys would like to bring along any of your 80's let me know!

I need a favour from Nixxe. I need her to come with me to Nagrand, group, and kill ourselves repeatedly with Hellfire. (Turns out I'm 26 battle tokens short of affording both mounts.)

How does that work? Hellfire doesn't do party damage, and wouldn't I need to be a hordie anyway?

Edit: Looked it up. Heh, I bet that will be removed in the next patch.

Okay, I mistook the posts on wowhead about this trick and thought you could kill both of us, heh. Either way, suicide works, heh.
It's far too difficult to get an actual, honor-giving Horde player to die to you near Halaa.

I miss Halaa.

Okay, I'm in. Want to make a guild event out of it?

There are probably a few others who would like a talbuk or the opportunity to watch me kill myself multiple times. :P
