I couldn't stay away from Pantheon for long if my life depended on it! heh

BTW, challenges for us re: Watchies - best of Pantheon

Choice between:

Zephyr's Despair

kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic ... 082#707082

or

Zephyr's Sacrifice

kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic ... 829#708829

How to choose?!

BTW, I owe you a beer next time we have an Elohimfest! I have not forgotten that I bet you I could play a GOOD God that would be as powerful as an Evil God. Perhaps I will try again in P4!!

So far, I think only Simjen has come close to succeeding (although I do not know P1)

I've yet to play an evil god. In Pantheon, anyway. I'll have to try it some time (would be my fifth incarnation, at this rate, after the character I already have lined up, heh). I don't know if I'll ever go all-the-way good, though.

Post this in the Spotlight thread, so it doesn't get lost at nomination time...

hmm...

I will say cho has always felt that even before the start Deva was a bit biased in his regard of her. At least, I interpreted some of his statements regarding using his domain to help other deities who deserved his help to be directed towards her. That's me and my ego though...

But because of it, I don't think he was ever viewed as good in cho's eyes.

When he made that comment to O-gon-cho, he had started to darken.

As early as season 5 he started getting signals
As the months pass by ... a strange hunger is beginning to make itself known within you...
I still don't know if this was well played deific interference or a random event or the corrupting hand of the AllFather ;) . After that and the attack that almost took Deva out, I thought his perception would be distorted. All his gentle efforts had not protected him...

However, I did not want to experience the "Adomorn" effect! ;) So I had him slowly change ... not outwardly showing blatant evil tendencies ... but becoming darker. Concurrently, his moves with the Paragons served to build in them a taste for Power over life and hunger rather than a commitment to serve Life. My contest entry provided the "back story" for the seeds of his fall. And Calais well structured transformation provided the inspiration for my completion of Deva's transformation.

And now MWAAA HAA HAAA!!! Look out!! ;)

You had mentioned it before, but I don't remember where...

The whole transformation thing among all of you has been well played. Engrossing story on everyone's part.

hoping desperately that that statement is directed at the Pantheon as a whole, as Madadeva's little comments about a "small matter" to deal with has cho's angst in full swing...

*oh boy, this is going to sound familiar coming from me*

Just be patient...
...I am sure all will be revealed in time.

It seems this is taking an approach similar to how I introduced Niggle in The Overfiend's Purgatory game. Multiple background entries leading up to the reveal/registration post.

IIRC, Eztlicoatl did similar with his reveal as well; not that we ever saw the reveal to his prophet that I recall.

So, are the Numen the same thing as the Manymind, just with a new name?

As the game stats have shown since yesterday.
The AllFather wrote:The Numen, Whisperers of Lore, Secret-Keepers, the Fractured Ones, the Manymind
Court and House: Sunset Aether
Divine Rank 1
Major Domain: Knowledge
Interesting that he changed The Manymind's primary race though...
