-They just killed all their hard work with the badge system. They didn't like people running Heroics for T6 gear in TBC, but not we'll be able to run them for Ulduar gear - all Heroics, Naxx, and Ulduar will drop Conquest badges, with the new tier dropping Emblems of Triumph in all difficulties. They're effectively recreating the problem the tiered badge system was there to solve, though maybe exempting the highest raid tier is supposed to alleviate it.

-Pets scale better, with resilience, spell pen, and hit. Good change.

-Hunters - Already mentioned pet scaling. Hunters now have seperate categories of traps, can lay one of each at any time (three traps at once - can stack frost, viper, and explosive, nice).

Shaman - Totem bar is nice, Shock range is nice for Ele. I no longer have to have two seperate binds for remove disease and poison, yay!
Dunno how I feel about the emblems. Having them drop from heroics seems too easy.

Liking the hunter/shammy changes.

Grats!!

Its nice to see a fair bit of Old World content being thrown into the mix. Lots of fun.
I spent a bit of time yesterday clearing MC with 3 friends for the fun of it and old T1/T2 drops. BWL is going to happening this weekend - still want to come along to that Murrin or will you have already gone in this week and completed it?

AQ-40 is great. My cousins have been farming that for a while and I think Pryzm just needs one more mount and a pretty cool trinket that drops in there. Good to see fights that actually require thought and knowledge of what is to come. Burning cooldowns before that mind control boss is also a big plus! Would have hated to see that place at the correct level.

Deva - good going on the Pally! (and the druid) Still a few levels to catch up to me which means I should really start working on my alts.

Emblems - do you think it would be a good thing to spend all the ones one might have then before the changes?

I'm going to wait until they post more info, but my theory is that whatever we have will change over to the new ones. IF that's true it'd probably be best to hold onto them.

Doubt that, really. They're keeping them in the game, they just won't drop anywhere. You'll get lower tier loot by doing the 1:1 exchanges from Conquest > Valor > Heroism. Even though you farmed them from the same instances that now drop Conquest, I think they'll leave them as is.

So you need to downgrade emblems if you want to buy heirloom gear? :?

For non-80 gear a badge is a badge, you'd be spending them the same whether they were Conquest or turned to Heroism, because the ilevel won't be an issue. You also be gathering them no slower than you previously gathered Heroism.
I expect the new chest-slot heirlooms, when they add them, will be on the Conquest vendor.

I am mixed on this issue. In leveling of alts the prospect of doing the same progression was both exciting and daunting at the same time. Does it basically mean a new 80 will skip tier 7 gear completely?

Damelon - Kelleta apologised, she copied this week's raid invites from last week and never realised you were missed off them until she saw you log off tonight.

Some new upcoming WG changes have been announced. They're turning it into almost regular BG - you queue for the battle, and get ported in when your turn in the queue comes up. If you're in WG when a battle starts and you're not picked from the queue, you get ported out, and noone who's not selected from the queue can land in the zone (because you'll be able to fly over WG in 3.2, only get grounded if you land) while the battle's on. There's a hard limit of 100 players on each side.
Basically, WG works like a larger, one-server BG, with the zone being open only between battles.

That's ok. I couldn't have gone along last night anyway.
