A Cheval sighting!!

Post by Menolly »

At the Tampa mini-fest for the Clear Frontier gig.
Cheval said it was his first Watch meet ever.

TOM's daughter, Prorider514, took the picture on her cell phone, so the quality isn't the best. He posted the original in the album at:

kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/album_page.php?pic_id=1900

and also posted a better quality shot (most likely taken with someone's camera) of Clear Frontier performing in the album at:

kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/album_page.php?pic_id=1901

It was excellent finally meeting Cheval and seeing the band in performance.

We did.

Since that picture was taken, the camera hasn't worked 'cause I was in it!
My ugly mug had BROKE THE CAMERA!!!

First impressions:
Menolly is the most huggable person I've met,
dANdeLION seems to be a teddy bear with a great sense of humor,
aTOMiC reminds me of me... the silent type (Probably 'cause he was busy with the gig),

...and I was being so polite that I looked like a fool. (In a good way)

It was very nice to meet everyone.

P.S.
dANdeLION: sorry for arriving late, but I'm happy to had made it there.
Have you hugged your arghule today?

Great description.
He can be a bit bristly at times.
But what bear isn't. ;)

mmm...
He was similar at Cracker Barrel before the trip to the Chr-stmas House. So I'm unsure if the gig had all that much to do with it. Best ask dAN.

nuh-uh!
A shame you couldn't join us for Chinese and Yes concert-footage DVD at dAN's later though...

Really, it had nothing to do with that. He's always been that way. I think he has a Black Bolt complex or something........

You got there before we started playing; that's on-time in my book!

Cheval, it was great to meet you. dAN is right when he says that I've always been a quiet guy in groups of 1 or more. All you have to do is ask me some completely useless question about Star Trek and I'm off and running. :-)

Also very nice to see Menolly again and as usual there wasn't much of a chance to just sit and talk but that's all we do here on the watch so....

dAN, I see you pretty much every week so....
