Your chapter has yet to be complete, sorry. Don't worry - it will be soon.

I'm going out tonight and will be busy all day and night tomorrow. This means that Vampire will be on hold for two days at the most. I plan to spend all day Sunday (my sunday) catching up.

My apologies.

So we can spend experience points on increasing our Attributes, Skills, Merits or Disciplines, right? Can we use them to get new or increase existing Sill Specialities?

Yes.
Jonathan Belmont wrote:Can we use them to get new or increase existing Sill Specialities?
Again, yes. A specialty costs 3 points. You can purchase another specialty for the same specialty, to increase the bonus from +1 to +2 (for that situation).

Hmmm, this will require some thought.

Lore, why do some of the Merits in the Character Creation thread have (A) next to them?

The 'A' tells me that the merits are from the supplement titled 'Armoury'. That way I won't waste time looking for the merits in the main book.

 The thing is, there are so many more merits in the covenant books. I am still reading Circle of the Crone, so it will be a while before they are all listed.

Unfortunately, due to varying time zones, player commitments, etc, it does become difficult for characters to meet up in chapters or events. The result will be that some players are left waiting for other players to join in. For instance, the event at the opera house is due to start soon; Every character's initial chapter occurs before that, so there is time to travel there and take part. However, I will be starting the main chapter with the arrival of the Hierophant soon - as in, in three days time.

I realise some players started later than others, but I am being fairly generous. I do not want the players who are already there to have to 'twiddle their thumbs' so to speak.

Do not forget that I will be awarding xp at the end of the chapter.

My apologies for the delay in my reponses. I will start now.

As we now have another player - Maddoc - who will start his own introductory adventure, the gathering at the opera house is going to be delayed. I'll work something out.

Excellent! Welcome to the World, Maddoc. And thank you for delaying Lore, so that those of us who have been ourselves delayed in posting... we now have a chance to get our posts in.
