Token minority characters are like big houses, big cars, big guns, etc. Just compensating for a lack of real diversity (or in the latter examples, "size").

Having not actually watched friends, I should say my tongue is stuck to my cheek which is why I'm not using the tongue-stick out smiley.

I agree with him on Jeprody.
You have to know stuff to win.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

northern exposure - cancelled
china beach - cancelled
west wing = cancelled
mash - very cancelled
combat - cancelled
the prisoner - way cancelled
I spy - cancelled
sienfeld - cancelled
sopranos - cancelled
JERRY SPRINGER - NOT CANCELLED

I love House but just for the character development, not the medical intelligence so I can't call it "smart".

there was a game?

that show was way ahead of it's time. It dealt with many issues around war in the mid 60's before it was fashionable.
