Why would I text, when I have a perfectly good keyboard right here?

<shudder>

I can only imagine the pain in my hands from having typed the whole dance routine into my phone.

No thank you.

Not all are fortunate to have a computer keyboard under their fingertips nearly all their waking hours, unlike you and me, The Numen. And some phones have full QWERTY keyboards to text with, or so I understand...

Oh puh-lease. You text all the time too.

So... uh... why am I arguing about this? This is a really silly thing to argue about.

God, we need results.

I'm on vacation next week, leaving Monday morning. I suspect you can all look forward to results some time that week, when I won't have much (not sure I'll have any) internet access.

Right? You'd think being married; a combined five kids, some with special needs; a full-time job; and being in the process of buying a house - would be enough to keep me occupied, wouldn't ya?!?

Oh, from what I've seen of Requiem in the various game threads, I suspect you'll have your own addicts soon, Lore.

Meh. Doing all that stuff just means you have more stress that you need to let off by taking over Eiran and destroying your enemies.

Though, I gotta say, doing the whole "We're trees... we don't walk." thing kind of slows that down a bit. Doesn't seem very cathartic. But I guess that's where the haiku comes in.

I am the Zephyr.
I have pent up aggression.
I will destroy you.

I am the Zephyr.
dum tee dum tee dum tee dum
I speak for the trees.

Man, I love that... it just has to be seven syllables... it doesn't even have to MEAN anything, you know? I mean... I know there are people out there who can make haiku with grace and subtle flavors of meaning. But the art form is wide open for horrible amateurs (Like me.) to beat down and abuse. It's like techno, that way.

Yeah, 'ku is a great art form!! I've pretty much mastered it, though, which is why I haven't posted any lately.

I'd say I've mastered it, if by "mastered" you mean "made it my bitch"... "beaten it to the ground over and over again, until it quits crying".

That's not the same as being talented, though.

Also, go check out The Numen's guest appearance on the Vampire: the Requiem game. (Profuse apologies to Loremaster, but he gave out cryptic hints. I couldn't resist. )
