No, you still would have lost by 1.

Will somebody please let me know when the rest of the ya'll are going to get out of the diaper league? And good score for you Brinn...at least someone else figured out a way to break 100 points.
And next week I get the Tom Brady-less Revelstone Lordsfire??? Heh, like taking candy from a baby.

And this week you get to watch Revelstone play me in round 1 of the playoffs from the comfort of your own home. It's like putting the potato back on the couch.

I think that I have said all that I have to say in the Playoffs post.

To repeat it again here would be just that much more painful to post.

Oh my...it's getting to be that time again.

I've been warned! ;)
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Both of us have something to prove this season after a poor showing last year. ;)

Don't try to drag me down too far in the basement...I still won five more games than you!!!

What'd you finish the season with...a 7 game losing streak? Maybe you should change your name from the Cleburne BEARS to the Cleburne LIONS, eh?

...gotta get the smack started early, right?

Not a bad idea actually to change to the Lions LOL

Well like Detriot Im hoping to have a better season but the chances of a fantastic season will be remote ;)
Mind you I need to be sure I,m in again this year first :?:

Have we set a draft date and time yet?

The draft is set for Aug 30 at 5pm EST. That is a Sunday. As usual I'd like to have as many folks there as possible. I will need to know everyone's 3 keeper picks at least one hour prior to the draft or I'll be making the picks for you.
Also give me a heads up if someone won't be playing so I can attempt to fill the void with a new member. Post any questions here or send me a pm and I'll try to stay on top of things.

Can we set an earlier deadline for the keeper picks? It will make it difficult to try and plan ahead if we don't know who will or will not be available.

...just a thought...

I like that idea.

P.S.
I'm looking at my roster and the rest of the league's rosters. How the hell didn't I win this league last year?!?!? ;^)

What email?

I might have my other leagues draft at that time, on the 30th. It was among a list of dates the commish sent me. I'll let you know.

Get you a couple of laptops and do 2 simultaneous drafts...now that would be difficult.

Is there a thread for the Saints and Sinners league?
I don't want to mix trash talking for that league here and confuse everyone...

We trash talk in that league (Saints and Sinners) since most of the member aren't from the Watch we've never talked here, BUT now that there are 4 Watchers on the league, we make up half, so I don't see why we couldn't.
