1977 is when the geekdom world came out and started the influence. Geeks were around for a lot longer, but we were biding our time. :P

And in 77, I was +23.. 8O

Just going back to the original post - I don't think all 3 first chrons were published in '77 - I think all six books were published between '77 and '83, I could be wrong.
'77 was a good year but not that good! If the first 3 books came out in one year my head would have exploded.
There is also Love in the World.
