My problem is that it will just create posting for posting's sake. There'll be more of who can rush for the top poster position.

It has nothing to do with posts. Every member gets to choose race, location, tool/weapon, etc., and have the nifty picture - the ones we have now - displayed.

Well, anyway, your idea is sound. I'm in support of it. Allowing us to change our profiles every month will give people a chance to have things for a while.
I have another idea. Each month we get to vote for Lords of Revelstone. These people get powerful items. Their status as a Lord is on display, too. Maybe we nominate x many people (nor more than 12) as Lords, and 6 get voted at the start of every month. A High Lord could be voted, as well, lasting the entire year.

I like the voting idea! :) Although I, for example, would not be a Lord, so wouldn't be in the running. We Haruchai members would have to figure out a way to fight to be First Mark. :D
