On another topic, I've written out most of three deities' results. Things are turning out to be pretty fun! :D

ooo, you're making good progress, now that you started.
That leaves five more?

Any potential CHs from the first three?

Eye, Somefather. And fire really isn't your element.

I never said the game thread was being used incorrectly. Originally, I never even said it should be used differently. No, I made a simple request and gave my opinion that the narrative as presented doesn't work much for anyone other than the participants (does anyone else disagree?).

I will say my last post was dramatically edited and quite charitable in comparison to what it could've been. Not a big fan of being told to go stick it, especially by someone who so frequently has solicited my opinions.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

*nodding*
And I over reacted, for which I did try to apologize for my tone of voice.
I still think a summary isn't necessary though, unless posted outside the game thread. And we really, really are just killing time playing on our turns. Is it so different than what we did in Purgatory? The game thread in Purgatory wasn't even official, unless we acted upon it in turn. I even interacted with Nameless, and still didn't understand his posts most of the time.

And hence tone of voice again. Telling you to "go stick it" was definitely not my intent at all. Explaining what and why I started doing this was. And the suggestion to skip over it if it didn't work for you was only because I do the same for certain aspects of some of the other games I'm involved in. I made the mistake once of saying there was an ongoing type of play I didn't enjoy in another game, and totally offended at least one of the players involved. So now when that rears its head again, I do mostly skip over it. I figure if that works for me, should it not work for you?

Again, I am sorry for the tone of my initial post Syl. I do hope you understand what you seem to have taken from my post was not my intent at all.

I wasn't pointing a finger at you, Syl. Menolly mistakenly took what you said that way. She even began discussing how to change things in order to fix the problem. I wanted to make sure it was clearly understood that I will decide when it's being used incorrectly, and what will be done about it.

And, again, I'm grateful for the activity on the Game thread. Revealing conversations between followers is fine.

OK, results are sent. Give a holler with questions, and let me know what I forgot to do. I'll try to update the map in the next few days.

Never a great sign when in the very first line of results your followers are doing the opposite of what you told them to do.

Dread Poet Jethro
You wrote that as a haiku
That was so awesome

For realz, I didn't even catch that at first. Very well done. Like... I'd just posted a prose response, and just as I hit submit and the page changed to the "you have sucsessfully hit submit" thing... the three-line format hit me.

Mad props, yo.

No joke, that was sweet.
