Yes, it's Troon. There's no desert. What is not mountains or forests is simply land. It's just a different color than the a grassy-plains look of the other continents. It's, perhaps, more rocky, maybe a little colder? Forests are on the southern sides of the two mountain arms. The "glowing area" is simply the ice peaks of the highest parts of the mountains.

I have to say, I don't care for the name of the continent. Nothing personal, Odin, just that it's the same name as a collection company I once had to deal with.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Turn sent.
My apologies for being a little late.
I hope the reinforcing stories compensate.
...in other words, prepare for your eyes to glaze over, SomeFather...
Light of the world, shine on me
Love is the answer
Shine on us all, set us free
Love is the answer

And when you feel afraid, love one another
When you've lost your way, love one another
When you're all alone, love one another
When you're far from home, love one another
When you're down and out, love one another
All your hopes run out, love one another
When you need a friend, love one another
When you're near the end, love one another
We got to love one another

I've sort of had all areas with the same climate so far. Four seasons, much like those in New York State. The reason is, since this is my first time being a GM, I'm trying to keep the variables to a minimum. Of course, there are mountains that always have snow caps, and this turn is winter, so your Revelation can take place anywhere you want it. As for being in a tundra on a permanent basis, I guess areas at certain elevations would work for you?

On another note, I'm going to have to write to a few of you to get the ideas you have straightened out. So, unfortunately, although deadline is past, it's still sorta not. But we'll get it straightened out soon enough.

Which also gives more time for those who haven't submitted yet. (And no, Pam, I won't tell you how many, or who they are.)

As badly as I word things, I'll be on the lookout for a PM.

Hey now...
...is this turning in to another "pick on Pam" week?
(oh right, that's an ongoing condition...)
I may ask if all have submitted on time, but I don't think I ever once asked how many are outstanding or who they are. Sure, I take my guesses at who might still be outstanding, but never expect replies. :| ;)

I think mine's fairly straightforward - I'm kicking a god's ass. Mano a Velto. Sending him packing. That's what he gets for stepping foot in my woods, I say.

Anyone else want some? ;)

Whether or not you expect a reply, you always ask who. (Yes, asking, "Is it X?" is asking who.) I'm just saying, I won't answer. :D

Ooo...
Agapé's folks are wandering southern Mekoth now, but they always seek permission before entering another's lands.

fair enough.
At least I don't have to ask if all have been turned in on time this time.

Blarg.

Not only did I forget there even was a deadline up, it also took three mentions of it being passed in this thread before I clocked on.

You know, I like my character but I don't think I'm very commited to this game.

Except for not having a single clue where I'm going with this or how. Or even what it was I actually gained last turn, despite it being something I came up with myself.

Edit: Honestly, with no direction, no goals, and no character motives, I'm not sure why I am even playing. I just make it up as I go along and hope I somehow come up with a reason for it along the line.

Any chance of this being resolved peacefully, Murrin? :D

If it makes you feel better, you've been doing a good job of freaking out my people.

My goal in all games remains the same: to win.

On the other hand, I'm constantly revising my definition of "win", so things are still pretty fluid. As long as I can remember that RPGs aren't necessarily zero-sum games, things go pretty well.

(By the way, I'm only really posting here because it means that the most recent post in every game on GT is from me. Except Valley of Eden.)

I will start processing tonight. Some things with a couple players were ironed out. Another problem with another player is just starting. Heh.
