I lol'd, then I repeated my post, then I realised I couldn't delete this one after I'd posted after it, then I realised that the source of the chaos had been relegated to the previous page...

Druids gather at the circle of stones,
To worship the ancient ones.
In the glow of a dying red sun,
Their rites of evil have only just begun...

Get that rhohypnol away from me, you damned dirty ape!Loremaster wrote:Hi all, I have scrapped the Rake and am playing a chimp from the 42nd century known as "Member of the Simian Family who has made Chrono Journey from 4155 AD". He has a rhohypnol dart gun which he uses to incapacitate people, and then extracts their sex organs to make a fluid that boosts his intellect. My character speaks Neo English, but is also a master debator, having won the World Series Master Debating Championship (his speech was titled "Pseudo Capitalist Zeitgeist"). I should also add that he has had 5D6 lovers in the past year, and there is +5 chance he will seduce a member of the opposite sex (he finds German women appealing).

Gah sadly I was distracted tonight (it pains me to admit that I was distracted by reading and mocking conspiracy theories, amongst other things) and have not got the writing and stuff I had planned, nor completed the remaining character sheets. I will make sure I get them done over the next few days

Oh, Wikipedia! Great confounder, and destroyer of afternoons! Because of you, I now know of the Vampire Squid from Hell, as well as Pumice Rafts, and that Depleted Uranium will kill you faster because it's poisonous than because it's radioactive. And, as awesome as those things are, somehow I feel like I came out behind in the bargain.Dorian wrote:Gah sadly I was distracted tonight (it pains me to admit that I was distracted by reading and mocking conspiracy theories, amongst other things)
Have edited the first post in the Alinia thread with details on the continent. Have also done the character sheets I said i would do on sunday. Just waiting on one more.
Also, those of you who i havnt already spoken too in depth, could you please send me a quick backstory, motivations etc, your ideas for why you would be on the venture. I intend to come up with some motives for each player, kinda like quests, to help make sure the players dont get stagnant

Damn, so no Chrono Chimp?Loremaster wrote:Sorry, but I am stuck on my character concept. I have no idea what to play.
Leaf through the WFRP career section of my book and I'm sure you could find something. Otherwise, why not play a variant of Heinrich Distesse (only, without being a Dwarf)?

Owing to time constraints, I may only get to do one more Background Post. But there is no need to discuss everything that has happened, or even to discuss the basics - I always feel that these posts should merely convey a character's 'atmosphere' more than anything.
