So, I just now clicked to the 'one year' bit in that. This makes Baby Jesus cry. (Which is pretty weird sounding, through his cute little baby-sized gas mask.)Montresor, with emphasis added by Goatkiller, wrote:I could work on the game very gradually over the course of a YEAR and release it only when I feel it is completely playable.

It will probably be ready sometime in March 2011, to be honest. I may run a brief adventure via email to tease the rules etc sometime before then. A one-off with the Sanctus Spiritus PCs would be good.

I had thought there would be a collar included with the cassock, but there wasn't. But even if there had been, since I had a balaclava on (tucked into the neck of the cassock) and the gas mask itself, I'm not sure that yet another things down there would have been so great.
I'll probably keep working on this costume idea in the fiture, and will get more pictures posted as I can.
One thing I really wanted to do, but that didn't come together, was a belting of some kind. Since it's a militaristic kind of order, figured that he should have a web pistol belt. I got a white one and a black one (wasn't sure which color would work best), and neither of them really did the trick. Probably if there had been pouches or other things on the belts, it would have been better. I didn't have any useful pouches to use, and didn't find any that would have been worth buying.
Finally, I needed a great big rosary cross. My two rosaries are too small to fit over my head, much less a gas mask.

Well, welcome to the new year. And, as I work on my New Years Resolutions, I'm sensing that I should have some time starting in February to run a game on here, if people are interested. I've been talking about going back to a story I never got to finish in White Wolf's Vampire: Dark Ages setting (Original World of Darkness, so similar to but not the same setting as Loremaster's Requiem game).
Given that we already have a D&D game, a Rogue Trader game, a Warhammer Fantasy game, and a Requiem game, and that it's more or less the same people in each game, I hope that people have additional time to play in this one. If nothing else, I expect that it would keep me busy with having to interact with everybody's actions, so I won't mind when various other games have lulls in them.
This is a campaign I came up with many years ago, though it grabs pieces from several different game modules. It starts out with the Giovanni Chronicals I, with some edits. I really like GC-1 because it starts out with all the characters being mortals who know nothing about all this supernatural stuff. It's a great setting to bring newbies into the game, because it doesn't really matter that the player knows nothing about most of the rules... the character doesn't either. So, you can learn them as your character does.
So, is anybody interested?
