I do. Because if you invoke her name enough, she will eventually come to you.Murrin wrote:In my head, I quite often replace "...the heck?" with "...the Salma Hayek?". I don't know why.
Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life
I once cut my own hair when I was 3 or 4 and my mom cried. I pat her back and told her it'd be okay because we could tape it back on. That sums up our relationship.
I started to write better poetry because the guy who pushed me and taught me to do it also happened to be someone I was secretly in lust with.
I sang "Tu es Petrus", the song written by Palestrina to dedicate St. Peter's, in St. Peter's Cathedral and sang an Aria in The Baptistry next to Pisa, in front of a choir.
I turned down the opportunity to audition for Juilliard. *aksjfbaskdjfbvasdo*
The best parts of relationships, for me, are the first 5 weeks.
My toenails are very small.
During my pot-smoking years, my favorite snack was Zingers. =/
I clear my throat when I'm uncomfortable/nervous/have anxiety/etc.
I want to write a novel but never get past the first or second chapter before I get distracted.

Look to the author in your signature. He has never gotten past the initial chapter or two before getting distracted...and he has not let that stop him. Indeed, it is a fundamental aspect of his style!Kaydene wrote:I want to write a novel but never get passed the first or second chapter before I get distracted.
Very true *happy sigh*. I love him. I wish he got more recognition. I feel like he is the next Vonnegut.Savor Dam wrote:Look to the author in your signature. Pretty much.CovenantJr wrote:They seem to be basically iced twinkies.
Well, there are different flavors, and since I'm a chocolate fiend...Kaydene wrote:They're twinkies with "raspberry" coating rolled in coconut flakes.
Although, IMO they're better than twinkies.
But nothing beats Drake's Cakes Yodels or Ring Dings!
and
I've felt bad about eating hostess-esque snack cakes ever since a friend of mine read "Twinkie, Deconstructed".
Apparently, there are things like the gelatin that holds diapers together and explosives (?) in twinkies, and they paint the twinkie yellow to give it the appearance of being baked. Scary stuff. I feel so disconnected with what I ingest sometimes.

I wouldn't be surprised if Twinkies were like McDonald's fries -- you could leave 'em out for weeks and they would never rot, because there's nothing real in 'em....

I love his characters and there are some absolutely classic monologues in his books (the bedbugs bit in 'half-asleep in frog pyjamas' is my favourite page in any book ever) , but the stories don't grip you like they should!Savor Dam wrote:Look to the author in your signature. It's true, his forte is character development, specifically, the strong and irreverently sexual female heroines.Stonemaybe wrote:I love his characters and there are some absolutely classic monologues in his books (the bedbugs bit in 'half-asleep in frog pyjamas' is my favourite page in any book ever) , but the stories don't grip you like they should!Savor Dam wrote:Look to the author in your signature.
