Just curious...
The story implied there was already a battle going on before we started heading in this direction, possibly involving Frusvolk? Hence the Lightening Bolt spell being cast, right?

While we don't know if these Frusvolk are friendlies, is there a reason we aren't seeing them as well as the ones we are currently fighting?

*call me confused*

It appears my post-rate over summer will be one a day. I just thought I'd give everybody the 'heads-up', officially. On a brighter note, I'm really enjoying the game and the characters created therein.

Why am I getting a "Fellowship of the Rings" vibe from this?

"Speak 'friend' and enter!"

All we have to do is change Hardy's name to Bob, and let him get sucked into the lake by the Cthulhu monster...

Me thinks Laurel and Led would have been a bit closer as they slept than the current map depicts, but no matter...

...although some help getting her mithril chain on would have been appreciated. ;)

Sorry for the delay there, folks. Having some issues with my email client, and I didn't notice that Seven had sent me the map days ago. It got auto-filed into a folder without me seeing it.

Seven thwapped me upside the head this morning, and it has been corrected.

[ooc]Um... Seven?

I thought it was taking 20 that took a few rounds. And taking 10 takes only one round.

Just making sure...[/ooc]

you're right....and again, my unfamiliarity with 3.5 is revealed...well, no one died (only the NPC came close), no ret-con is necessary. :P

Seven, just what time of night is it?

If it is still fairly early, it might be possible to have Laurel and Marrik use their healing abilities and then still get the eight hours of sleep necessary to restore them before the next day. This would take them out of the watch rotation, but I think it might be a good idea, even if we have to delay setting out for an hour.

A late start and full spells/abilities is a great idea. :)

Just an FYI...

The family is headed south for a family wedding.
Vyn will be totally without computer access, unless his grandfather takes him to a library for access.

Hyperception and I will each have a laptop or netbook with us, but where we are staying has no internet at all, either wired or wireless. We're on such a tight schedule for the weekend, I doubt I'll fuss with setting up the dial-up access.

Should we stop at a Starbuck's, or if we bring the laptop and netbook with us when we visit my sister in her hotel Saturday, I might get on briefly. But I think it best to expect Vyn and Laurel to be out of touch as of early evening today until Monday morning.

In which case, there is no point in conserving our abilities, so...

Laurel, Marrik, heal us to maximum, please!

...Yes, I know that this is ooc, but still...

At the moment, Laurel is not thinking straight, due to loss of blood. And she has already gone to sleep.

Not to mention, who is to say we won't be attacked again before eight hours of rest is accomplished?

So, just to be clear (?):

Barak is gone (somehow... details will come up IC later)
It's now the next morning. We've slept in, so we're rested / spells refreshed / one night's Hymn-bonused natural healing has happened.
