No apotheosis for

(in other words, I got nothin')
Oh yeah, this might be my favorite:
Hyperception's
Claws rend my back's flesh
Tendrils of pure brilliance: my
Excoriation
though I also really like Kaydene's
The unambergrised,
one-shoe'd wench starts to run, her
pumpkin black, rotting.
Not sure what's going on, but I like the imagery.

thanks! It's supposed to be referring to Cinderella. Or, rather, the aging of one Cinderella. I dunno that I was clear enough. lolmatrixman wrote:

I already bowed down before neo's blues.
Other than that, I like Hyperception's first three.
But to me they feel like they stay true to the intent of Japanese haiku. As well as being beautifully written.

For his ineluctably sad haiku. Lots of votes helped this one win. (If votes didn't count, Hyperception's praeternaturally vivid haiku was my personal favorite, albeit unambergrisedly misspelled. :o) )
