Shaun of the Dead was the smartest, wittiest film I'd seen in along time, amazingly made for a firsttimer. But it wasn't nearly as entertaining in subsequent viewings...
...whereas Hot Fuzz was the otherway around for me: was okay the first time, but more and more fun each time I watch it.
