Ahh, yeah...that's me too. I was all about the Greek mythology very early on.

Oh, and after Star Wars came out, I started to want to read space operas in book form, but I primarily found a bunch of boring stuff, so I stopped trying to read Sci-fi. Then after LOTR and the Covenant books, I kept wanting to find something else that would make me happy but couldn't. The Earthsea books I do have to say I enjoyed somewhat, but they didn't really click until I was in college, strangely enough. But I kinda gave up on fantasy books after that. I've still not found anything that really does it for me since Donaldson hit a home run with me early on. Nothing else I find has much depth for me, unless I turn to things that are a bit more considered Dark Fantasy, like Neil Gaiman and even Clive Barker (though I'm bored with Clive now).

I like Neil Gaiman very much. Although I didnt care for Anansi Boys.
