Too late. They already had their strokes, hehehehehe.

But I must admit, I'm close to having one too.....

Yeah, really, it's either a stroke because of the excitement, or because of the disappointment.

I still haven't decided if I'm anticipating...
...or dreading...
these upcoming results.

Well, that's something. Either things went really well or really wrong.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

My facial tick is starting to go nuts. But I don't want you to worry about it, Xar. I don't blame you in the least.

Delayed again, sorry... my colleague is leaving on friday and before he does so, we have to organize a grant application, a student's thesis, and set the groundwork for a project we should start in January. In addition to this, my parents (along with my aunt and my cousin) came on friday and have insisted I spend the evenings with them... *grumble grumble*

Excellent! More time for Odin to process the Aesir turn.

So far, I am not dreading the upcoming Aesir turn nearly as much as the upcoming Pantheon turn...
...and only a week or so for Acropolis results.

Nod. Aesir will be like Christmas... though a Tiny Tim kind of Christmas, with "not being homeless, maybe a fire so we don't freeze to death, oh and some kind of food would be nice" as the presents I'm all excited about. Pantheon will be more along the lines of "You know those very very few worshippers you have... the ones in the fleet The Void was nice enough to lend you... the fleet that's in the water RIGHT NEXT to the giant section of abyss in the ocean that's going to be merged together... yeah... hope they can swim in tidal waves."

But, it's how we respond to adversity that really defines us. Either way, it'll be exciting to work out a response. Perhaps there will be an interpretive dance titled "The Death of The Numen".

Given all the trash Odin is talking about Xar, I think I'm safe. Plus, uh...I... uh... have a plan. Yeah, a plan, all worked out to deal with this possibility. That's why I said it. Yeah.

...hope he believes me, and doesn't go for it...

I think Xar should simply post the revised map and then let us guess what happened!

:LOLS: Fantastic idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And thanks for the update, Xar. It's always better to know there's no point in checking for results every half-hour. Which I was, and still would be, doing if you hadn't said that.

Seriously, Mada's idea is great! Any chance??? :D

I've been checking the map ever since last Friday week, hoping for just that sort of thing...

Surprise, the turn is out! :D

Given the coming holidays, I would set the deadline to January 6, 2010; however, keep in mind that processing will still be slow after that date until at least Jan 11, when I come back to Heidelberg.

Enjoy!
