Oh, wow. Something I just found out about Twin Valkyr.
1. Powering Up stacks when you absorb the right type of damage.
2. Light is actually Fire damage (Dark is Shadow).
3. Sulfuron Slammers deal fire damage.
4. It is possible to get Empowered Light at the start of the fight by chugging Sulfuron Slammers.

i dunno but i have about 20 i carry around with me at all times.
no harm in trying but...have you ever had sulfuron slammers?
one shot and you're blind drunk for 10 minutes!!!!!!
two would make you incapable of even SEEing the twin!!!!

you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself
to one of them?

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

Well, with a free 7 day pass from blizz and the Thanksgiving weekend all to myself, I'll be on until Sunday.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

It was good to see you about again Syl!
So how is everyone enjoying all the patch changes? Any major likes or hates?

I'm not a big instance runner, so I won't comment on that, but I like the quest tracking function to the map. I don't remember how many times I've done an old quest and then try to figure out where the turn-in was at. When all the add-ons catch up to the patch I'll be comfortable with it.
Right now I'm dealing with a major irritation. Control-Tab is supposed to shift focus among friendly targets, but for some reason it doesn't work for me; even though it's set as such on the key bindings. A major pain in WG where as a healer I have to constantly shift targets. Right now I have to cursor select them.

Hrrrm that sucks. Do you use any addons for healing?
I tended to avoid healbot and grid but now it seems to find a group healers get dragged in quickly so I may think about adding one.
(says she who accidently got thrown into the new instance as the healer thanks to the random setting then had to 4 man some of it when the servers crashed)
Hopefully the addons will get fixed swiftly - the error messages popping up at inconvenient moments is quite frustrating.
I haven't done much questing yet, not time this week so far, but it looks helpful!

The sheer number of people queuing for the new instances seems to make them come up much more often than you'd expect on the random option. I got Pit of Saron as my first random right after clearing all three for the first time.
I like the new features surrounding the dungeon tool, such as the free and instant ports in and out of the instance - not just when you're finished, but at any point during the run. Engineers and Warlocks might be less pleased, though.
The Heroics are pretty challenging to tank.

Haven't really seen any of the new content yet, but hopefully this weekend...
I do like the dungeon finder, and healers do seem to get in quickly - I queue as DPS/healer and haven't DPS'd one yet.
As to healing in WG, I generally don't put a lot of effort into trying to heal people that are in other raids. I tried some in the beginning, but it was a bit of a headache. Never used tab for healing, so can't help there.

Does this mean you have another new 80??
I shall soon have a tank, the druid dps/healer and a pure dps. I wonder if I have too much time on my hands
The new content looks good from what I have seen. You should have a look at the new tier stuff for the warlocks - pretty scary looking but great on a mini gnome

I have a resto shaman (Alti) who is one of my mains these days. Also have a resto/balance druid and a 40-something priest. I'm not great as a resto druid, but I do have high hopes for the priest, as I am enjoying leveling as shadow and I covet priesty raid-healing spells.
