Just watched it on DVD; just as enjoyable as in the theatre :)

I got the Blu-ray the day it came out. We've already watched it 3 times, including once w/the commentary track. I think it's *more* enjoyable at home, actually.

I thought my Trekkie days were in the past (I never could get into Enterprise), but I have seen this movie like three hundred times already, and I haven't even bought the DVD yet.

Saw it in the theater, loved it. Bought it on PPV and dubbed it. Watched it over and over again. I have rented the DVD from redbox like a zillion times.

(paraphrasing):

-The mouth-breather under your bed!
-You can hear me breathing?

-What are you doing?
-Showing them some compassion. It might help make peace with the Romulans. It's logic, Spock. I thought you would like that.

Fun, funny, exciting, awesome. Loved the ship. Loved the actors. loved the look.

One critique: what the heck was up with the laissez faire attitude with

altering the timeline? And I am not talking about stepping on a butterfy's wings, I am talking about the DESTRUCTION of a PLANET. GENOCIDE. Sheesh.
