That, or he's been getting GM tips from Xar. *sigh* It's hard enough looking out for unforeseen circumstances, but to add 'don't give the GM ideas' to the mix...

It's ok, though. Two can play at that game. Look to see the God of Paranoia title earned by Surya.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

For all my Gravin Threndor friends, but especially those playing the three deity games:

New deadline is up. Although it would be fun to make it Friday, and make some of you write them with a hangover, I'll go for Saturday.

OK, so even though they're listed in Goat's signature, I'm trying to implant deadlines in my brain...

Acropolis ~ New Year's Eve
Aesir ~ January 2nd
Pantheon ~ Epiphany

Got it.
...I think.

It is my belief that Tepes is no longer among you. He did not submit last turn, and has not made any contact at all since long before that deadline.

My apologies to all for bringing real life events into game, but the timing of submission with the timing of events in real life threw me for a loop for awhile, and I found there was naught else Love felt the need to do so intently on Narie this turn in response to them.

I also apologize if the gathering of my thoughts on what I wanted to do after this occurred delayed processing at all.

...turn sent.

*looks at calendar date*
*looks at deadline*
*thinks to self*

Well, it has been over a week, so here goes...

Any cryptic hints for us SomeFather?

...this being the only game where I can ask for such relatively safely...

I sure hope not. Two game deadlines pass since the new year and there's not even the vaguest hint from anyone that the deadlines were up until a day or two ago... People usually mention something when it's time.

Well...
goatkiller's signature has the deadline dates in them, once they're announced. And, I admit I was late, in a sense, in sending in my own turns for all three games.

I got Acropolis in on time, but needed to redo part of it at the Autarch's request. And then, just prior to Aesir's deadline, I couldn't focus on anything at all for a few days. Fortunately, both the SomeFather and the AllFather granted an extension on my submittals when I PMd and asked for them. But, Agapé's game thread post of the 5th is her turn for Turn 15, posted with the SomeFather's permission. All 4 DRPs worth.

Hopefully, that was prodding enough in this game.

And Creator made mention that he was going to be late either the day of deadline, or just after, in Pantheon. And then he stated when he did submit his turn. So, mention there was made...

Creator saying he'd sent it was the first I knew. I only realised the Aesir date was gone after that.

I posted that there was a new deadline on the 27th, six days before deadline, five posts above yours.

Yes, and I forgot within those six days. I'm not blaming anyone else for me forgetting, I was just saying it is unusual that I'm not reminded sooner by "turn sent" or similar posts.

Odin, this sounds like a good use for your "turn deadline" text blast service, like you do for that other game. Or at least an email blast.

I'll post tomorrow about what progress I've made. Barely started yet. But tomorrow is a very free day for me, so I should make some good progress.
