It looks like it will at least be better than Van Helsing ( thats not saying much), but to see one of Robert E. Howards lesser known works put down on film does my heart good. Now on to the Conan the Barbarian remake ( Hope, Hope, Wink)

Thanks for the news, and the link!

I always liked the Solomon Kane stories and am glad to see that this looks pretty faithful to Howard's concept. Looking forward to it.

Now, if only someone would make a film version of Three Bladed Doom I'd die happy.

James Purefoy (starring as Solomon Kane) I always forget his name, but he seems the perfect choice for the part. Im looking forward to this film very much, hopefully its not a turd.

Looks great! Here's hoping they'll eventually make Howard's Bran Mak Morn into a movie, as well.

Yessss......that would be great. This and Burroughs' John Carter movie are long overdue. Maybe not quite so much as Beowulf, but you get my point.

Would love to see a big-screen Worms of the Earth adaptation...

For whatever reason I actually liked Howard's historical adventure fiction more. So, Three Bladed Doom and Shadow of the Vulture have always been my favourite Howard stories.
