I doubt I'd go back to school - in person, anyway.
Distance education would be it for me.
Thanks, MM. With Biology, I may need luck. heh.

Not everyone frequents different areas of the Watch, so I spammed everywhere...
That's OK, it probably just means I should start another re-read soon, and then start spamming the forums with new topics :)

Excellent!!

As long as the topics are different, I am sure others will welcome the forum kick starts. :D

Gotta say Kaydene, I LOVE your avatar!! That's an awesome pic!

And don't worry about your classes - I think studying when you're older is actually better - easier to focus (less distractions!), and at least you WANT to be there (who in high school ever wanted to be in high school?) You'll do swimmingly!!

Today, I have finally ditched a migraine which has plagued me for the last two days/nights...gotta love T3 in combo with Naproxen!! :P

Today was the first day back in college. I got there at 8am, fully prepared to sit in a lab for 3 hours, when I saw the note on the door saying it was cancelled. Thanks for posting on your faculty website. Much appreciated.

So I go home and come back to my second class, where the parking lot is completely full and so my $25 parking permit is good-for-nothing. I finally find a space 5 minutes AFTER my class has started, on the other side of the campus, and I haul-ass to it in the pissing-down rain and 60mph wind only to find out that the lecture hall is so packed, I have to stand with ten other people for the entire hour. Wewt for college.

/sigh

Needless to say, I was unimpressed with the first day back. But I'm no longer nervous about it all.

Yay, college! I'm happy for you, Kaydene!

In fact, I loved school so much when I was there, that I'm going a second time! (Maybe this time I'll finish :O ).

This is also my second time. I have two classes to take before I've fulfilled my requirements for a State University, then I've got three more delightful years left until I'm qualified to teach High School.

Awesome... what are you wanting to teach?

5 quarters left for me... assuming I can work the scheduling right, avoid running out of money, and not fail any classes...

Literature. I'm hoping that by the time I'm out of college, they won't be slashing those jobs like they are now. =/

Hopefully not. Have you looked at any job sector surveys or censuses? You know, the kind that say things like, "In 2008, there were 40,000 Electronics Engineers in the US, expected to reach 50,000 in 2018"?

Anyway, I find my own appreciation of literature didn't really mature until my twenties. I certainly read a lot in high school, but I was so naive at that time that I just look back on myself and laugh :)

Thanks y'all!

As I said up in the Birthday thread, even though I have chosen to wait for the book, SRD and Romeo gave me a terrific birthday present with the release of the trailer and first chapter from AATE on stephenrdonaldson.com, eh? ;)
