I can just picture the dope that tests a singularity grenade. I picture Bugs bunny standing on an assembly line with a big mallet taking a whack at every one that comes along. When they don't go off he marks them as duds.

Is there a technical description of how they work? Maybe you could post it and then we could discuss it based on that.

There are several similar devices scattered around SF, but I do not know how to relate the Gap singularity grenade to any of those.

It's possible Hashi created tiny black holes using a particle accelerator. Quantum physicists have been predicting their existence for years. The only thing is they have an extremely short lifespan. How he'd create larger singularities is beyond me.

Well, I'm trying to, but there's not a lot of base material to work with here. Suffice it to say that none of us can do more than make a vague guess at how they are made. Now, F-bombs are easier to figure out.
