Kudos from those who can't draw...

Post by Isarma »

I can't draw to save my life (well, maybe a stick figure it my life was at stake) but I'm stunned and in awe of the talent I've seen in this forum. So I thought I'd create a post and place for all of us who can't draw but appreciate looking at good art to let all of YOU who have shared this wonderful artwork with us know how much we like it! I'd be spending half a day if I posted "wow," "fabulous," 'terrific," and "nice work" on every pic here I love. (Not to mention it really doesn't make you feel like I think much of it..) So from all of us, to all of you....

WOW!!!

My eyeballs and imagination are in your debt.
Thank you.

Hi Isarma, what a terrific idea!

As the Watch's current Watchy award mod, I would like to also point out that we do have two categories currently accepting nominations for artwork posted on the Watch during the 2009 calendar year. That artwork can be found throughout the Watch, but in particular here, in The Laborium up in the Kevin's Watch Album and also in the Comics and Cartoons forum.

The Watchy categories that honor such are the Best Visual Art Piece and the Visual Artist of the Year categories. Please peruse the artwork on the Watch, and then come on down to The Watchy Awards forum and lodge a nomination or second for whichever pieces or artist catches your eye!

And, while I already welcomed you up on The Summonsing, I'll say it again.

Be Welcome to the Watch, Isarma.
Be Well Come and True. :)

Nothing wrong with that. I do that all the time, and I've yet to see anyone give me a cease-and-desist order for thanking them for their artistry.

It's less anyone being mad at me than the deterring thought of waking up to the incessant beeping of my computer as my face painfully presses keys while the drool from my sleeping mouth short-circuits the keyboard!! ROFL

Besides, Y'all kinda overwhelmed me when I got here, once I start getting my feet planted I'll likely do more of the per-piece kudos.....

(P.S. - I'm a "she" lol....... "Isarma" means "a doorway to brightness" - I pronounce it "eye-Sar-ma" ... I'm not offended, just amused... )

Glad to hear that!
Your avatar hinted that you were female, but then mine doesn't hint that I am as well, so I figure better to not assume. Feel free to enter that you are an eh-brand in your profile if you want though. :)

This is a good idea: I'm regularly amazed by the artists here.
