2009 Kevin's Watch Awards (the Watchies) are underway!

As wayfriend is encouraging in the NOM-inate! It's Your Civic Duty! thread, it is time to make your nominations for the Watchies!

There are a lot of categories this year (48!), and we need at least two seconded nominations in each category for them to proceed on to the ballots. But don't feel overwhelmed; feel free to weigh in only in those categories you are comfortable with.

The Hegemony categories include:
Best *Thread* in a Hegemony Forum
Best *Post* in a Hegemony Forum and
Most Notable Contributor to a Hegemony Forum

The Hall of Gifts, and the Writers Circle, should the authors be willing to post their work where all can see it, also have their own additional categories:

Best *Poem* in The Hall of Gifts
Best *Prose* in The Hall of Gifts and
Most Notable Contributor: The Hall of Gifts

So head on over to the Watchy Awards forum and start nominating and/or seconding.

Here is a reminder that nominations are still going on for the 2009 Watchies. Come nominate, or second a non-seconded nomination in many categories.

Nominations for the 2009 Watchies will close on Monday, February 8th, 2010 so the ballot can finish being compiled.
