What has gone before?
I just checked in on the official SRD site and saw a trailer is up for the upcoming book. I was very excited, then I realized that I can't recall much of what happened in the first two books of the Last Chronicles. I won't have the time to re-read them before October. Would a kind soul like to summarize for me?

Not sure if I can summarize them, but I can provide hope! There should be a "What has gone before" section in the book when it comes out, and that should provide all the information you need.... it may actually end up on the website eventually!
However, if you want to know so that you can read the first chapter now... read the "What has gone before section in Fatal Revenant, and when you're ready, I'll provide a very brief summary of Fatal Revenant in the Fatal Revenant forum.

Not sure how much time you want to spend, but you could look at the dissection chapters for FR in the Dissecting the Land forum.Thermo-Pile wrote:I just checked in on the official SRD site and saw a trailer is up for the upcoming book. Well, there's this guy, and he's a leper, see...
He gets hit by a car, and goes into a magical land, called, strangely enough, The Land.
Actually, here is a summary of the first Chronicles.
And here is a summary of the second Chronicles.
They haven't made one for the Last Chronicles yet, but maybe we should do so in the Last Chronicles section. Hmm....

I'm good on the first and second chronicles, having read them multiple times. I read RotE twice, once when it was released and again before book 2. Here's what I remember:
Linden has the run in with Roger and he takes Jeremiah to the land. Linden meets the crazy old man who is actually the son of somebody I should remember, they go back in time to get the staff of law and there are a bunch of cavewights or demondim who start following her around. They get to revelstone where the misguided haruchai are in charge. She thinks Covenant rolls in with Jeremiah but it's actually Roger. She somehow goes back in time with the Theomach to meet Berek and Demaelon and helps them out somehow. I think she meets the real Covenant toward the end and he is pissed at her.
What am I missing or am I totally off?

BUT: that summary reminds me way to much of:
"Well, first the earth cooled, then the DINOSAURS came, but they got too big and fat so they DIED and turned into oil, and then the ARABS came and they bought Mercedes Benzes, then Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes, I couldn't believe it...he took her best summer dress and just went to town!
