Hey, start a new thread for that talk. This is NFL playoffs.

okay...just thought that with the SB coming up, there wouldn't be much discussion in here - no sense making a new thread when this one won't be used after next weekend...

Well, there were other threads about HoF worthiness, and I think its good to waste time talking about :)

BTW, if Freeney doesn't play, huge blow? If they can't get pressure on Brees, it'll be hard to stop Saints offense. With weak D of NO, could be quite a shoot out.

Who Dat?!

Peyton throws the pick-six, and the Saints win...by a larger margin than expected, too. Very good game...not as good as last year, but still up there.

Too - the Colts (Peyton making the calls) in the second half nearly gave up on a run game that was succeeding...they were only down by one score Peyton gave up the big one, Addai had been succesfull most runs...I think allowing Peyton so much control on the field has its detriments, the Colts were last in rushing during the regular season...

I agree. Gets a little cocky, wants to be "the man". Addai had a healthy avg per run, make the Saints prove they can stop him.

Hard to beat last year w/the play at the end, but certainly was a good game. Estimates are the most watched program ever in US, beating MASH finale. Wonder if Wayne caught that TD, would've been interesting onside attempt (and how about Payton calling onside to open 2nd half - wow).

Commercials were disappointing tho.

Yeah...they were a little disappointing. Too- Peyton the Coach, man if that Colts guy would've held onto the onside, he may have been responsible for losing the game...everyone lauds his risk taking, but it really could have cost them.

It was a good game. I didn't pay too much attention to the commercials; I'm not a football fan because I wanna watch more commercials, you know. Anyway, I don't know if you noticed, but all 3 NFC wins this decade have been over the favored teams, and 2 were against that season's MVP quarterback (and Brady should have won it in '06).
