The GAP into Editing (Who's editing what)
I'll maintain a list of people who are working on the project of detecting errors in the GAP e-books. You can sign up here (by posting) or in the appropriate forum (each one will have a topic relating to who's editing it). I'll keep this list up-to-date as people sign up. Don't worry if someone is all ready signed up in the book you want to read, we need verification and you may be able to catch something that was missed!

I'm not volunteering yet, but I see Forbidden Knowledge on the site you originally said.
As for me volunteering, does that mean I'd need to purchase the ebook?

Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life

Thanks for the update! I'll be sure to add that info to the other topics!Cagliostro wrote:I'm not volunteering yet, but I see Forbidden Knowledge on the site you originally said.

As far as buying the eBook, I'm planning on getting them all for verification purposes, if you download the B&N e-reader, I'll be able to loan my copy to you (this offer is available to everyone, just remember, I'm only getting one of each e-book, dang it!)
Update: The site leads to a place where one can read the first "fifty" pages online. However, when I've clicked to purchase it, it has only offered it in paperback format. This shall be investigated further...

Since I've already downloaded the Real Story, I'll be a volunteer for that one! It's short, and I'm a slow reader so I'll tentatively review a chapter a day and see how it goes...
It was $7 by the way which I think is a good price... I'll start posting in the sub-forum and you can edit the format if you like Orlion.

You've got it... it's big enough that if others wanted to, we could divide the chapters amongst them. If you download the Barnes and Nobles e-reader onto you computer and PM me the e-mail address you use for the account, I can loan you my e-copy of Chaos & Order. You can download (for free, of course!) the e-reader hereCleburne wrote:Orlion I,m starting to read Chaos and Order for the first time and might be interested in editing it, but if moe senior members than me want first preference on reading it I will give way.

edit:Hmmm.... seems like you can't quite loan all the books, and guess which ones seems like it can't be loaned? No matter, PM me anyway once you've downloaded the e-reader.
