Actually, I'm pretty nuts about washing my hands. I also keep disposable rubber gloves on hand to deal with raw meat. Also, I just bought this super cool motion sensing soap dispenser, so I don't have to touch anything after handling raw meat in order to wash my hands (the faucet is lever-style, so I can use my elbow).
