It's not the time that's driving me crazy. It's the little stories! It's like-

Something's gonna happen!
Something's gonna happen!
Something's gonna happen that Z might like!
SO WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN?!?!?!!!Something's totally gonna happen!

All lies and jest
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest -Paul Simon

If Stone had posted ~IC~

He is a lich.
Perhaps a very long lived one.
But still a lich.
He is no g-d.
Although the choice of saying he "perfected" the Undead he rose as abominations sure is reminiscent of Nor Yekith.
But he is no g-d...
...I hope...

In order to facilitate their reading, and to reduce the clutter in the game thread, I've decided to create separate threads for the Chronicles of the Red God, the Scriptures of the Seas and the Fall of Virelle. Once the three stories are completed, they'll be merged into the story and writings thread.
A couple of side notes. These stories depict the outcomes of significant events performed this turn: they are the consequences of actions performed by specific deities with their orders, and as such by the time turn 16 rolls out, their consequences will be in place. In other words - no, you can't send mails now to tell me how you'd have your followers deal with this stuff mid-turn, in case you wondered
Second, there may be one or two more such short stories, depending on the turn results for the last few deities; nevertheless, Turn 16 will be released the same day as the endings of these stories are posted - so you can look at them as a useful indicator of what's going on with the processing.
Enjoy!

Or if some fast one has tried to... never mind.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I am so glad I am not the only one wondering what the heck is going on...uKulwa wrote:If some bugger has tried to pull a fast one on uKulwa, he is going to be extremely annoyed.Xar wrote:...they are the consequences of actions performed by specific deities with their orders...
I haven't the slightest idea what is so "significant" regarding cho attempting to save her former followers from the torture of a mere lich.
