Results are out! FINALLY!!

I promise I'll do some work on the map within the next couple of days.

Deadline won't be for more than a week. Close to two. So everybody relax, plan, scheme, etc.

Was there a last second reprieve?

It seems that now we know for sure. And it was only one.

Not yet. But let's make it a definite for next time.

I gotta say, it's extremely interesting to see how different people go about being a deity. It's also very interesting to think of how I would handle this or that situation.

Speaking of next time...
...is there a deadline set yet?
I don't see one listed in the first game thread post.

...suspects Odin may be waiting to see what happens with results for that other game first...

OK, here's the deal with the mists.

This turn - the turn whose deadline is Thursday the 11th - Turn 17 - nothing changes. You will submit as you always have. No exchange of anything between the maps.

But you can sense a thinning in the mists. It is clear that you will soon be able to reach through the mists. You can sense that this will happen very soon. Turn 18, in fact. Starting in Turn 18, there will have been enough thinning that you can act on either map.

BUT, the mists will only have thinned. They will not be gone. So only limited interaction will be possible. Deities will be able to use power directly on the other map, but that's it. Nothing but direct divine power will be able to go through the mists. No followers. No animals. No drop of water. No puff of air.

I'm not going to tell you when, or if, the mists will every fully part.

It's really very simple. However, let the million questions begin.

You guys are so slow. I've had mine in for days.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

*sigh*
I still play with no long term plan.
I guess that influences what I choose to do each turn...

Revised turn submitted last night. Turns out it wasn't THAT far off from my original turn, though the results of some of that won't be apparent for much longer than I'd originally expected.
